If you prefer a more natural setting, about .25 miles from Bear It All Chalet off Mill Creek Road is the Pineknot Trail (www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/pine-knot-trail-to-grand-view-point). Pineknot Trail is a favorite in Big Bear for hikers and mountain bikers alike and rewards your climb with exquisite views of the lake below. No bike? No problem! Just footsteps away from Bear It All Chalet is the best bike shop in town, Bear Valley Bikes (www.bvbikes.com). They have bikes of all kinds including e-bikes to assist you on steep ascents or for cruising effortlessly around the lake. The Lakeview Loop bike path is a fun and easy ride the whole family can enjoy together. Just head up Mill Creek Road towards Pineknot Trail from Bear It All Chalet and follow the signs for Lakeview Loop. The ride ends back at Bear Valley Bikes which makes it convenient to drop your rental bike off and walk back to Bear It All Chalet!
